SOMEDAY...

Some say: There are seven days in a week and someday isn't one of them.

Well, someday is today for me. I am halfway in my pregnancy and I have been worrying about not knowing enough. The other day I went to the store to buy a towel for our little girl and there were a dozen choices for different purposes. I figured it is about time to continue to read more in my baby book that has been unopened for a couple of months. It is about time to make plans. It is about time to do some of the things I always imagined I would do when I would become pregnant and a parent. It is time to take advantage of the knowledge of my mom, my sister, my mother in law, etc. I have figured out it is about time!

The to do list. I love lists. I notice without them I do a lot less. Have your priorities at the top of the list and set a goal for when you want to finish the list by. If you continue to say someday you might miss out on a lot of chances. If for example you wait to say how you feel to that someone that someday might never exist.

When is it ok to say someday?

In the Disney movie "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" one of the songs they sing is called "Someday". It is a song of hope and the future, it says

But a prayer for someday better
Is the one thing we all share
Someday
When we are wiser
When the world's older
When we have learned
I pray
Someday we may yet live
To live and let live
Someday

If it is not possible for the someday to be today, it is possible to start preparing for that someday today.
You need to have the dream for it to become a reality. One of my future somedays is the Second Coming which I am trying my best to prepare for today, because if I would wait for that someday with no preparation there would be no point for the dream.

What is your someday? Should you change it to today or start preparing?
